Well this week was kind of a blur for my Spanish. I try to use Duolingo very often, especially when I’m not actively finding new resources to use. I decided that using Duolingo a lot this week would be very beneficial for my learning and would be good practice for an off week. I just continued from where I left off a few weeks ago in unit 3. It is so awesome to be able to track my progress and to go back on words that I once thought were hard and I now have practiced them enough to make it easy. One thing about Duolingo is that it is quite nice to just sit on the couch and still be on my phone but getting work done. I think it’s pretty funny when I sit down to do a lesson and my roommate just has to hear it happen. She says she’s annoyed but I can see her enjoying it and even sometimes catching on to a few words here and there. I have loved just using the random words I know and putting them wherever I see fit. If she is cooking or doing laundry I’ll just say the word in Spanish of anything she’s talking about. It is quite amusing to me and I am sure it is for her too. Anyways this week has all been pretty chaotic so it feels nice that I was still able to get a lot done without it feeling like a big assignment. Thankful for this resource and to keep expanding next week.
