Back with another Weekly update. This week we talked about Multimedia learning theory and imaging editing. We did a bit of a reflection and discussion about what we talked about when Rich McCue was in our class. We went over how important multimedia learning it and how it can make or break a presentation. Using a bunch of different tools to create a presentation more engaging and effective is great for students who might get bored easily and you can make it very interactive as well. We learned a few ways to make these awesome presentations and we learned that if you don’t have the resources like photo shop or Adobe editing then you can use google slides or power point to do just the same.

With that being said we then got to play around with PowerPoint editing. It was such a fun class and I loved learning new things that I never knew PowerPoint could do. I think we all had a lot of fun with it. I decided to make mine beach themed cause that’s where I wish I was now that it is starting to get cold. I don’t have a lot of pictures of me on my computer but I was able to find a few that I could edit to make it look like I was laying on the beach and sitting on a chair. I found it a bit difficult at the start to photoshop the pictures but once I got the hang of it it started to get easier. I just thought it was so cool that you could do that in PowerPoint and now that teachers are using more slides learning its a great tool for a lesson slide. The next thing I put on my slide was a few of the 3D images you can find on PowerPoint. They has so many options and I loved looking through all the animated ones. They were all so cute and I already have so many ideas of what I want to use them for in the future.

This was probably one of the most fun classes we had and at the end we all got to share our slides and have a mini presentation. We had a lot of laughs and I loved what everyone came up with. Cant wait to keep using these. Unfortunately I did not save my photo and cannot find where the big slide presentation is. But I will keep looking and share it when I find it!

See you next week!
